About Morah Sarah
My name is Sarah Friedman Ciment. I was born in Brooklyn, New York, where I attended Chabad schools for elementary and high school, gaining a solid education in both Jewish and secular studies. I attended seminary in Israel for two years.
Currently I teach students, one on one, in a school setting, at home and remotely. Subjects I teach include: Tanach, Tanya, Hebrew Language, Math, Science, ELA, History, Social Skills, Coding Skills.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Management from Adelphi University and an MS SPED, Masters in Special Education, from Nova Southeastern University.
My first career began in the field of technology where I gained experience in the world of finance, while working for Fortune 500 companies, specializing in computer technology. After a solid career, I moved into the world of Special Education, where I currently enjoy teaching and motivating students of all ages, mostly from Grades 2- 12.
I currently live in NYC, and plan to make Aliyah, please G-d, this summer to Central Jerusalem. I am a mom to both sons and daughters, some of who have proudly served in the IDF.
I am an experienced, American ELA teacher, Special Education Teacher, and private tutor with 10+ years of experience, working with children of all ages. l am available to teach Anglo students who need support. My training includes teaching students with disabilities as well as students who are mainstream but challenged with keeping up with peers. Services can be provided in school, at home, via Zoom, or at providers office, for ages 5-18 years old. Subjects include Hebrew reading, Chumash, Navi, English, Math, Science, History, and even preliminary coding.
